I drive past this place regularly. As much as I love food, nothing about this sign makes me want to go in and try it:

The Girl & The Boy came along when I shot this one...they got nervous when people started coming outside to see what was going on.
I totally wish I was a customer at that place walking out with you standing there...at least you have a witness that the pizza is good :) I think maybe they didn't have the extra money for more than 3 colors..
ReplyDeleteWell in that case, CLM, they should've spent money on a 2-colored pizza and a 1-colored font! And yes..thanks to the witness, my next video from there will be me on the inside taste testing.
ReplyDeleteFirst I love the commentary on the logo. You are 100% correct their marketing is poor and does nothing for their brand image.
ReplyDeleteThe crust can be used as a differentiating factor if done right, Hungry Howies pizza which I was totally addicted to in college brands themselves as "As the original home of Flavored Crust Pizza" and offer 7 or 8ish flavors of crusts. So I understand where they were trying to go, but I'd love to see their marketing materials to see if they some how make their brand pop despite their bland logo.
@CassiusBlueCo - your services immediately came to mind. I talked to a couple of other people who had less than favorable feedback on the taste of the pizza..seems they put some kind of seasoning sprinkles on the crust. I doubt seriously they'll be in business much longer. Thanks for sharing your expertise!
